Thomas Charles Whitmore
Known as "Charles" to everyone in Thomas Flat, Thomas Whitmore was more than a local bank manager-he was the town's financial conscience. His maternal family, the Thomases, originally gave the town its name, and Charles spent his life ensuring that legacy was one of service.
In 1987, seeing the traditional banks retreating from rural communities, he sat down with Noel and Colette Delaney to draft the charter for what would become MASKredit. He believed that if the town’s capital stayed in the town's paddocks, everyone would flourish together.

The 1987 Foundation
It started over thirty years ago with a simple question: "Why is our community's capital leaving town?" MASKredit wasn't built by city bankers in glass towers. It was forged by neighbours who believed that Thomas Flat deserved its own financial heart.
We’ve seen the seasons change, the harvests come and go, and through every dry spell and bumper year, we've remained steadfast. We are a Mutual Association for Savings and Kredit-an anchor in the soil of our local economy.
Deeply Rooted
Unlike modern fintech startups, we don't have a "fail fast" mentality. We have a "build to last" mentality. Our growth is organic, honest, and entirely for the benefit of our members.

Raynor is the silent engine behind our reliability. Beyond webmaster duties, he manages the long-proven systems that keep our members' data exactly where it belongs-unseen by the outside world.
